Everett Dean Rafferty

August 21, 1901 — September 24, 2001

Everett ''E.D.'' Rafferty, 100, of 2501 Old Hartford Rd., died Monday, September 24, 2001 at the Carmel Home. The Daviess County native was a retired farmer and member of First General Baptist Church. He was a Sunday School teacher and Deacon of First General Baptist and member of the Masonic Lodge 379, Panther.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Nation Rafferty, in October 2000.

Survivors include four sons, Bobby Rafferty and Durwood Rafferty of Owensboro, Adran Rafferty of Henryville, IN, and Everett D. Rafferty of Fort Myers, FL; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11:30 A.M., Thursday, September 27, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in New Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Wednesday and after 9:30 A.M. on Thursday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Carmel Home or First General Baptist Church.
