Evelyn Louise Stacik

Evelyn L. Stacik, 72 of Owensboro passed away August 30, 2015 at her home. Born on January 20, 1943 in Daviess County to Marvin and the late Mildred Morris.

Evelyn was retired from Swedish Match, Big Lots, and Fairfield Inn and was a member of St. Pius Tenth Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and her many groups of girlfriends, working in her flowers and she really enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother: Mildred Morris in 2008 and brother: James Morris in 2012

Surviving is her father: Marvin Morris, husband of 38 years Sonny Stacik, 2 sons: Shelby Coomes, Eddie (Judy) Stacik, 2 daughters: Starla (Scotty) Lanham, Lisa (John) Tyson, 4 brothers: J.E. (Alice) Morris of Paducah, David (Peggy) Morris of Whitesville, Charles (Donna) Morris of Maceo, Bobby (Karen) Morris of Masonville, 4 sisters: Mary Jo (Carl) Westerfield, Betty (Gary) Murphy both of Owensboro, Virgie (Melvyn) Evans of Jasper, Indiana, Nancy (Dennis) Clark of Maceo; 1 sister in law: Bonnie Morris and special friend Helen Kirkman both of Owensboro. 8 grandkids, 11 great grandkids, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. And her little Yorkie (Tag).

Funeral Services will be Wednesday September 2, 2015 at 10am at St. Pius Tenth Catholic Church with Father Tom Buckman officiating, visitation will be Tuesday September 1, 2015 from 2pm - 8pm and again Wednesday after 8:30am at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy in the form of donations can be made to Western Kentucky Hospice or Alzheimer's Association.
