Evelyn Mae Hagan

Evelyn M. Hagan, 98, of Owensboro, KY passed away November 11, 2015 while at Signature Health Care at Hillcrest. She was born July 21, 1917 to the late W. N. and Sally Powers Benningfield. Evelyn was an excellent homemaker and loved to crochet and work "Hunt-A-Word" puzzles. She was of the Baptist faith.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Earl, in 1993; three brothers: Roy, Estil, and Hazel, and one sister, Auntie. She is survived by her sons: Earl "Sonny" Hagan Jr. (Wanda) of Panther, Randal Hagan (Sheila) of Princeton, Kentucky, Joseph Hagan, daughter, Earlene Lawson (Mike) both of Eddyville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family memorial service held at a later time with ennichement at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
