Evea Elizabeth Stinnett

Evea Elizabeth Sweeney Stinnett, 88, of Maceo died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the Heartland Villa Nursing Home in Lewisport. Born in Evansville on October 18, 1915, Mrs. Stinnett was a homemaker and member of the Yelvington Baptist Church. She enjoyed oil painting, playing the piano, gardening, sewing and quilting, fishing, farming, and was a great cook. Mrs. Stinnett was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Stinnett in 1985.

She is survived by three sons, Bruce Stinnett and Lanny Stinnett both of Yelvington and Max Stinnett of Bowling Green; a daughter, Sue Toler of Yelvington; 5 grandchildren, Todd Stinnett, Beth Mullins, Lisa Bryant, Allen Stinnett, and Stephanie Bivins; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 1 P.M. Friday, September 17 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Stinnett Family Cemetery in Yelvington. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday and after 10 A.M. on Friday.
