Eva Jean Barnett

Eva J. Barnett, 76, of Maceo, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro to the late Roy Lee and Florence Stinnett.

Eva was a loving and dedicated homemaker and longtime member of Yelvington Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, karaoke, fishing, bingo and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband of of 51 years, Marvin Barnett in 2004 and a sister, Barbara Edmondson.

Eva is survived by a son, Roy Barnett; four daughters, Patty Horn, Donna Wright, and Delynn Henson, all of Owensboro, and Bonnie Loredo of Enterprise, AL; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Darlene, Debbie and Brenda; brothers, Walter, Elza and Ronnie Stinnett; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 12 PM Monday, November 17 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-6 PM and on Monday from 9 until 12 at the funeral home.
