Eula Bell White

August 11, 1921 — October 26, 2003

Eula B. Ammons White,82, of 1804 West Fifth Street, Owensboro, died Sunday, October 26, 2003 at Hillcrest Nursing Home. Born in Breckenridge County, Mrs. White retired in 1984 from the Owensboro Board of Education, where she worked at Robert E. Lee Elementary and Foust Junior High. She was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel E. White, two daughters, Sharon G. White, and Julia A. White, a son, Myrland White, a grandson, Larry E. White, granddaughter, Jill White, 4 brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Cox, and son, Don White, both of Owensboro, a sister, Ida Dee Ammons of Owensboro, granddaughters, Sherri Cox, Julie King, Shelley Green, Gerry Tanner, Sharon Sing, and Grandsons, Chris Cox, Terry White, Michael White, and Jack White, 11greatgrandchildren, seven great-greatgrandchildren, and her best friend and neighbor,Mary Anderson.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, where visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial wil lbe in Rosehill Cemetery.
