Ethel B Bartlett Rhoades, 85, of Owensboro, died September 18, 2013, at Wellington Parc. She was born in Hartford, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Mable Davis Bartlett. Ethel started her career at General Electric and then retired from Montpelier Glove Factory in 1995 after 27 years. She was a member of Barnett's Creek Baptist Church and her greatest joy was time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gordon Rhoades, great-grandson, Clay Rhoades; son-in-law, David Puckett; and siblings, Franklin, Raymond, Charles E., Ova, Catherine, Lena, Mattye, Bonnie, Rita Darlene, and Zelma.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Puckett, Karen Pickerill and her husband Perry and Kim Campbell all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Scott Rhoades, Stephanie Wilson, Keith Pickerill, and Elizabeth Bartolon; two step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Cova Rogers, Ernestine Evans, Lola Goodman, Kenneth Bartlett, Roy Bartlett, and Otis Bartlett.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Barnett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
