Ethel Louise Howard Logsdon, 91, of Owensboro, passed away on August 27, 2014 at the Heartford House. She was born on September 24, 1922 to the late William Thorton and Ethel Sapp Howard. Louise enjoyed watching soap operas, reading, knitting, sewing, word searches, and mending. She loved her family, had a great sense of humor, and gave great advice.
Louise is preceded in death by her Husband, Sherman Logsdon; great grandson, Carl Ray Miller; step great grandson, Jerry Critcheloe; brother, JC Howard; sisters, Theda Hamlet, and Marilyn Clark.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Craft, Judy Critcheloe (J.T.), Sharon Powers, and Janis Booker (Joe); grandchildren; Carla Johnston, Wendy Hagan, Kristie Melton, Sherman Powers, Tracy Hamilton, Bobby Austin Jr., and Eric Booker; 6 step grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 25 great-great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Tipton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at Noon on Saturday August 30, 2014 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Friday August 29, 2014 at the funeral home and from 9am until the time of service on Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy make take the form of donations to the Heartford House.
