Ethel Demarest

Ethel Demarest, 75, of 823 Parkway Drive, Owensboro, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at Hermitage Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Demarest was a native of Daviess County, she was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church, and was a former employee of the Bowladrome. She enjoyed bowling and quilting.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Demarest; a son and daughter-in-law, James W. and Connie S. Demarest of Owensboro; grandsons Jeremy and Bradley Demarest, of Owensboro; a sister, Jonell Maglinger and a brother, Billy Self, both of Owensboro; two nieces, Robin Soroski of St. Louis, Mo., and Becky Simmons of Owensboro, and a nephew Danny Self of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
