Ethel Louise Cundiff

Ethel Louise Cundiff, 95, of Owensboro, passed away, January 10, 2015, at her residence. She was born December 3, 1919, in Livermore, to the late John and Ola Belle Coin Howard. She graduated from Livermore High School, retired from General Electric after 41 years of service, and later worked as a receptionist for the Roosevelt House for 15 years. Louise was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. She was a loving, caring grandmother who enjoyed shopping with her grandchildren and preparing Sunday dinner for her family. Louise also enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques with her sisters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Cundiff; sisters, Margaret Shahan, Betty Murphy, and Reta Smith; and brothers, Noble Howard and James Howard.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Larry) Ashby; granddaughter, Linda Ashby; grandson, Travis (Christie) Ashby all of Owensboro; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Landon, Parker and Carson Ashby; and a sister, Patsy Sutherlin of Island.

Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
