Ethel Higgs Conrad

Ethel Higgs Conrad, 83, a longtime resident of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She was born in McLean Co., Ky. to the late John & Carrie Worthington Higgs. She had been a beautician for many years and was a member of the Walnut Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse F. Conrad on March 13, 1987.

Surviving is her daughter, Dianne Dayton of Lexington, her son, Franklin H. Conrad of Lexington, a brother, Robert Higgs of Chandler, In., a sister, Lou Jane Wallis of Orlando, Fl., six grandchildren, Jeff & Scott Conrad of Paducah, Kevin Conrad of Murfreesboro, Tn., David Dayton of Atlanta, Ga., and Kimberly & Susan Dayton of Lexington, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
