Ethel Mae Birge

Ethel Mae Birge, 86, of Roosevelt House I, died Saturday, May 19, 2012. She was born in Owensboro to the late Loney and Sarah (Wheatley) Henry. She was a homemaker, and volunteered for various organizations. She was a very giving person and helped those that she could. Her husband, Samuel Earl Birge preceded her in death in 1984.
Surviving are her daughters; Beverly (Kenny) Willis of Owensboro, Gale (David) Ray of Bloomington, IN., Patty (Jerry) Reeves of Virginia, Monica (Tippy) Taylor of Rockport,IN and Ethel "Angel" (Kelly) Smith of Owensboro, a sister; Thelma (Ben) Crump of Owensboro, 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Richland, Indiana. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
