Ethel Mae Barrentine

Mrs. Ethel Mae Paris Barrentine, 73, of 19A Harry Smith Apts, Owensboro, died, Sunday, April 29, 2001, at the Ownsboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was retired from the Owensboro School System as a cook at Mary Lee Cravens Elementary School and was a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by 4 sons, Harold Ray Barrentine of Wichita, KS, Charles ''Chuck'' Barrentine of West Charlotte, OH, Billy Gene Barrentine of Owensboro, and Jerry Dewayne Barrentine of Thornton, CO.; 2 daughters, Edna Murial Cline of Providence, KY, and Brenda Sue Ball of Owensboro; 20 grandchildren and 19 greta grandchildren; a brother, Robert ''Bob'' Paris of Owensboro; and a sister, Anna Lee Hill of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Scherer Cemetery in Stanley. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-8 P.M., Monday and after 9 A.M. Tuesday.
