Esther Lee Gregory

Esther Lee Gregory, 81, of 2237 Hoop Jr. Court, Owensboro, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2005, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born in Pineville, Ky. and was retired from the Finance Dept. of the former Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved cooking for her family and having family gatherings. She loved her dog, Cody, and going to the beach & ocean in Florida. She also loved her church, going to the movies, and eating out. She was preceded in death by her husband, Quentin R. Gregory on Oct. 29, 1994, two brothers, Robert Boyd Elliott, Jr. and Delbert Elliott, and a sister, Donna McDaniel.

Surviving are three sons, Robert & wife Donna Gregory, Russell & wife Janice Gregory, and Ron & wife Tonja Gregory, all of Owensboro, a daughter, Donna Gregory & husband Eddie Puckett of Owensboro, 10 grandchildren, Keith, Sarah, & Kimberly Lynn Gregory, Michael Gregory Puckett, and Katie Lee Puckett, Jennifer Cline, and Scott, Adam, Robin, and Kevin Gregory, four great grandchildren, Madison & Jacob Gregory and Bailey & Molly Cline, a niece, Sharon Louise Baker of Cookeville, Tn., and a sister-in-law, Fleeta Milversted of Sun Valley, Ca.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M.Thursday, May 26, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
