Estelle Coil

Estelle Coil, 84, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Coil was born October 26, 1931 in Graves County to the late Newton D. and Katie Page Wilkins. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. Estelle lived out her faith by being very active in church and serving others. She was a voracious reader throughout her life. Mrs. Coil worked for 20 years as a lunch waitress at Moonlite BBQ, where she never met a stranger. She is remembered as always laughing and loving to travel.

Mrs. Coil was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jimmie Johnson Coil in 2012.

Survivors include her son, James H. Coil of Lexington; daughter, Linda Ann Keith and husband Sonny of Owensboro; granddaughters, Jessica Coil, Ashley Taulbee and husband Travis, Katie Keith; grandson, Andy Keith; great grandchildren, Adryan and Alissa Johns; brother, John H. Wilkins of Mayfield.

The service will be at 12 noon Friday, October 28 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Franklin Skaggs officiating and burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 to 12:00.
