Ernestine Taylor Potter, 89, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Wellington Parc. Born May 31, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Romie and Mayme Chapman Taylor; was retired from General Electric; and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Mrs. Potter was preceded in death by her husband, Allen T. Potter.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Bill Williams of Owensboro; grandchildren, Charlene (Frank) Taylor of Lexington and Bill K. (Francine) Williams of Port St. Lucie, FL. ; great-grandchildren, Frank B. (Amy) Taylor of Morehead, KY, Will Taylor and Rachael Taylor of Lexington; and a great-great-grandson, Brannon Taylor of Morehead, KY.
Also surviving are a step-son and daughter-in-law, Jeff T. (Debbie) Potter of Owensboro and step-grandchildren, Samantha, Emily and Taylor Potter.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Angus McKinley officiating followed by entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m.on Monday and after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
