Ernest Earl Wills, 81, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 1, 1933 in Daviess Co. to the late Denver E. and Virginia Hester Wills. Ernie was retired from Green River Steel as an electrician and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #696 and the AmVets Post #75. He had been a past commander of the AmVets Post and a past Veterans State Service Officer. He was a former board member of the Western Kentucky Veterans Home in Hanson. Ernie was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at the Panther Creek Golf Course and was a self-taught investor . He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Wills. His son, David Wills passed away on January 21, 2015

Surviving are his daughter, Jane Langevin of Owensboro, daughter-in-law, Cindy Wills, four grandchildren, Tyler Wills, Kelsey (Ryan) Trunnell, Landon Langevin, and Juston (Tori) Langevin, two great grandchildren, Kinzley Wills and Hallie Langevin, a sister, Brenda Sue (Jesse) Howard of Bowling Green, and a brother, Steve (Joyce) Wills of Owensboro.

There will be a joint visitation for family and friends for Ernie and his son David, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Graveside services will be private.
