Emma Sue Lewis Kincaid

April 16, 1919 — December 28, 2006

Emma Sue Lewis Kincaid, 87, of Owensboro went to be with her Lord Thursday, December 28, 2006. Born April 16, 1919, Mrs. Kincaid was the daughter of the late Frederick and Dwight L. Moody Lewis; was retired from the Owensboro Daviess County Hospital ; was a member of the Living Faith Baptist Church in Hartford; and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, camping and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Basil C. Kincaid; sons, James Edward Kincaid, Raymond Lee Kincaid, Marvin Wayne Kincaid, and Douglas Ray Kincaid; and daughters, Margaret Ann Conkright and Wanda Sue Nelson.

She will be missed by her sons, Randall (and Ann) Kingkade of Utica, William Earl ( and Linda) Kincaid of Owensboro, Michael Medley (and Thelma) Kincaid of Reynolds Station; her daughters, Betty ( and Jay) Gabbard of Pleasant Ridge, Evelyn Horn of Owensboro, and Ruth ( and Jeff) McKeown of Pleasant Ridge; 28 grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward ( and Mary) Lewis and Frederick Lewis of Owensboro; and all those who knew and loved her.

Services are 11:30 A.M. Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Friday and after 9 A.M.on Saturday.
