Elza Edward "Eddie" Earl

Mr. Elza Edward "Eddie" Earl 67, of Owensboro passed away January 13, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 4, 1948 in Daviess County to the late Beckham, Sr. and Marie Blair Earl.

Mr. Earl loved working on cars, in his yard and going fishing and hunting. He fought a long and hard battle with COPD, along with his cancer.

Mr. Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Earl in 2007; his brothers, William Emil Earl, Beckham "Buggs" Earl, Jr. and his sisters, Anna Hall, Lucy Winstead, and Patsy Earl.

Mr. Earl is survived by two daughters, Linda Kay Earl and Kathy Earl, both of Owensboro; a son, William Earl of Calhoun; his sister, Catherine Williams of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Kaylee McHenry, Chrissy McHenry, and C.J. McHenry, all of Owensboro and Carionna Rose Gipson of McLean County.

The funeral service for Mr. Earl, officiated by Pastor Kimbrough Simmons, will be 12:00p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 18 and Tuesday, January 19 and after 11:00 a.m. the day of the service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
