Elvia H. Vincent

Elvia H. Vincent, 83, of 2557 Arbor Terrace, Owensboro, passed away Monday, September 13, 2004, at the home of her daughter with whom she was living. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. and was retired after 40 years with the General Electric Co. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church, and enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Vincent in 1981, a son, Michael Norris in 1973, and a daughter, Vickie Vincent in 1973.

Surviving is two daughters, Shirley Anderson of Owensboro, and Judith Quisenberry Buck of LaBelle, Fl., five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, a sister, Nola Draper of Corydon, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 16, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
