Ellen May Williams

Ellen M. Williams, 93, of 327 W. Legion Blvd., Owensboro, died Friday, March 16, 2001, at her home. Born in Heavnor, Okla., on March 10, 1908, she was the daughter of the late David Erwin and Barbara Ferguson Erwin. Her husband, Guy L. Williams, Sr., preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by four infant children.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church and enjoyed singing, playing piano and gardening

Survivors include four sons, Guy L. Sonny Williams, Jr., Robert L. Williams, Sr., and Leroy G. Williams, all of Hot Springs, Ark., and Richard L. Williams; three daughters, Norma Ellen Bush of Purcell Mo., and Denna R. Fall and Leona M. Feldman, both of Owensboro; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend David Fall, Reverend Jason Moore and Reverend Jeff Davis. Burial will be in Render Cemetery in McHenry. Visitation is from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
