Ella Coffey Chinn, 95, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Born September 9, 1911 in Wayne County, KY, Mrs. Chinn was the daughter of the late Willie and Susan Hancock Coffey; was a homemaker and member of Grace Baptist Church in Pleasant View. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Chinn in 1993, and her son, Richard Chinn and a grandson, Ernie Chinn in 1984.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law with whom Mrs. Chinn had made her home for the past 8 years, Carolyn and Bob Morgan of Pleasant View, TN; grandchildren, Jean Ann Stanley and Angela (and David) Austin of Utica, Alan Morgan of Ashland City, TN; and Lisa (and Mike) Francisco of Franklin, TN; a brother, Sherman Coffey of Owensboro; sisters, Marie Dillman of Louisville and Ruth (and Bill) Ackerman of Covington, GA; a sister-in-law, Ethel Ruby Coffey of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 11 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home with Dr. T.A. Prickett and Dr. Herschel Morgan officiating followed by burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 P.M. on Monday and after 9 A.M. on Tuesday.
