Elizabeth Antoinette Sills Smith

Elizabeth Antoinette Sills Smith, 78, of 1929 Fleming St., Owensboro, died Sunday, August 11, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Hardinsburg native retired from the American Tobacco Comapny where she did payroll. She was a member of the Immaculate Catholic Church in Owensboro and enjoyed spending time with her friends and grand-daughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Henry Smith in 1993 and a step-daughter, Marilyn Smith in 1979.

She is survived by an adopted son, Steven Smith of Owensboro and a daughter-in-law, Carress Smith of Owensboro; a granddaughter, Marilyn Alexis Smith of Owensboro; and a brother, Thomas Carol Sills of Seminole, FL.

Funeral services are 1 P.M., Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at the St. Remuald Catholic Church in Hardinsburg with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 12 noon Wednesday at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
