Elizabeth Ann Young Ratliff

Elizabeth Ann Young Ratliff, 80, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born January 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Jones Young; was retired from Swedish Match and had also worked as a cashier at Big Lots for several years. Mrs. Ratliff was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed playing bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 siblings.

Surviving are her children, Sharon "Sherry" Glenn and Joe (Brenda) Wheatley of Owensboro and Cathy Pederson of Sacramento; seven grandchildren including Kari (Caleb) Jackson of Owensboro; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy (Joyce) Young of Utah; and sisters, Fay Mehlbauer and Vicki (Danny) Farmer of Owensboro, and Connie (Danny) Rissee of Stanley.

Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
