Elizabeth Pike Parker, 92, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, August 05, 2008, at the Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 14, 1915 to the late Lee and Ellie Mae Reid Pike in Daviess County. She was retired from General Electric and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, but most of all, she loved keeping and being with her grandchildren and children.

Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Allan Parker; her children, Donald Parker and his wife, Judy, Mae Powers and her husband, Bill Calhoun, Betty Leeper and her husband, David, all of Owensboro; ten grandchildren, Pam (Aaron) Anderson, Sandy (Mark) Bowers, Scott
Parker, Jason (Jennie) Parker, Randy (Rosanna) Powers, Becky (Rick) Sengenberger, Angie (Steve) Howard, David Allan Leeper, Kim (John) Mann, Chris (Erika) Leeper; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Jones of Mt. Carmel, IL; a nephew, Allan Lee Jones of Ft. Worth, TX.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
