Elizabeth A. Nunn

Elizabeth A. Nunn, 57, of Owensboro, passed away January 2, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Henderson, was a member of Good Shepherd Church, and enjoyed going to Gatlinburg. Elizabeth was looking forward to time spent on Bryan Lake but found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Nunn, grandchildren, Camryn and Bryson Nunn; and her brother, Charles Turner, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Roger Nunn; daughter, Melissa Nunn and her fianc Nik Duprel of Owensboro; grandsons, Cory, Zak, and Logan; father, Charles and Nova Turner of Russellville; mother, Patsy and Tony Newman of Philpot; brother, Mickey and Tina Turner of Owensboro; sister, Annie Donahue of Henderson; sister-in-law, Janie Turner of Pleasant Ridge; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Church. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 11 p.m. on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
