Elizabeth Ann Jackson, 80, of Owensboro, passed away September 25, 2017 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born February 24, 1937 to the late Clifton and Sallie Mae Wilson, Elizabeth was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family and taking care of her 3 cats. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Johnson Jr.; second husband, John A. Jackson; son, Stephen Johnson; daughter, Connie Duke; grandson, Derek Wayne Johnson; sister, Ruth Lindsay and brothers, Clifton Wilson and Jimmy Wilson.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Buddy Johnson (Nina); daughter, Penny Melton (David); grandchildren, Brandon Henry, Josh Johnson (Andrea), Adam Johnson (Monica), Michael Johnson (Tasha), Brad Johnson, Christine Colburn, Jennifer Walker (Michael), Jessica Howard (Matt), Nicholas Lindsey and Jordan Lindsey; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Eddie Wilson (Barbara) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Dennis McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
