Elizabeth B. Cox

Elizabeth B. "Beth" Cox, 61, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at her home. She was born in Paris, Kentucky to the late William H. Cox and Alice Orttenburger Alfont.

Beth most recently worked at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She previously spent many happy years bartending at Off 2nd. She was a passionate U.K. Fan, enjoyed trips to Hawaii and loved to play bingo.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James "Jimmy" Wm. Cox.

Beth is survived by a daughter, Ashley E. Martin of Owensboro; grandchildren, Dylan, Isaiah and Carter; a sister, Alice Clark Putnam and her husband, Pat of Clearwater, FL; a brother, William H. Cox, Jr of Paris, KY; a niece, Dagny Olivares and her husband, Matt; a nephew, Jimmy Putnam; and special friends, Nicole Flores and Helen Alvey.

The funeral service will be at 12 Noon Saturday, June 25 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 8 PM and Saturday after 11 AM at the funeral home.
