Elizabeth Jane Sipes Ashberger

Elizabeth Jane Sipes Ashberger, 67, passed away October 10, 2014 at her home. She was born on December 10, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Ruby Sipes. Elizabeth enjoyed many things and had several hobbies including fishing, poetry, art, music, traveling, and camping. Most of all, she loved and enjoyed time with her family, helping others, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by a lifelong companion, Charles Edgell.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary McCrystal (Jeff), and Charlene Mishkah (Bill), Granddaughters, Amber Kirk, Ashley Kirk, Senecca Evans, Maegan Evans, and Elizabeth Downing; Grandsons, Jeff McCrystal II, Jeremy McCrystal, and David Evans, seven Great-Grandchildren, and two brothers Louis Sipes and Sherman Sipes.

Services will be 2PM Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 2-8PM, Monday and Tuesday from 9 until the time of service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
