Eleanor Virginia Marie Larson, 86, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 at her home. Born in Danbury, Ct on June 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Cora Bahr; was retired from Davis and Geck, a division of American Cyanimed; was a member of the International Chemical Workers Union; and volunteered as a leader for both the Boy and Girl Scouts of America. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leslie Larson, Jr.
Surviving are her children, Lori (and Andy) McMurtrie of Owensboro; Francis (and Deborah) Larson of Danbury, CT, and Robert Larson III of Casselberry, FL; grandchildren, Summer (and Tommy) Wedding, Leslie Hamilton, and Christopher and Matthew McMurtrie of Owensboro, and Toby Larson and Michael Larson of Bethel, CT; and several great-grandchildren.
Services are private. Inurnment will be in Danbury, CT.
