Eleanor Cummings Iles
August 7, 1922 — June 2, 2002
Eleanor C. Iles, 79, of Owensboro, died Sunday, June 2, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Grindstone Island, NY native was a homemaker and member of the Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. She had been very active in the Girl Scout Program as a Troop Leader and Area Supervisor.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ramon R. Iles; a sister, Carolyn Brost of Mt. Home, PA; three nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services are 2:30 P.M., Thursday, June 6, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 A.M. Thursday.
