Eleanor Harpe Brown

Eleanor H. Brown, 87, of 1932 Eaton Avenue, Owensboro, died Saturday, May 21, 2005 at her home.
She was born in Daviess County. She was a homemaker, and a longtime member of the First Christian Church . She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph W. Brown in 1997 and two sisters, Grace H. Murphy and Annie Belle Campbell.

She is survived by her daughter Eleanor Ramsey Brown, and son in law, W. E. Brown of Owensboro; a sister, Mary H. Robertston of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Monday May 23, 2005,and after 9 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family wishes that expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice and Palliative Care; First Christian Church; the Boulware Center; or the Daniel Patino Center.
