Elbert Raymond Frashure

Elbert Raymond Frashure, Sr., 73, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Livermore on February 9, 1937, he was the son of the late Floyd and Nola Gilmore Frashure; was retired from the Army; and was a member of the Livermore Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Gail Frashure; sons, Elbert "Bubby" Frashure, Jr. and Clifton Frashure; daughters, Carlinia Roberts, Ronda Harper, and Jacquita Bowers; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Homer Frashure, Vernon Frashure, and Ray Frashure; and sisters, Viola Arnold and Wanda Wells.


Services are 11:30 a.m. Monday in Peace Chapel, Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-6 Sunday, September 19 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. There is no visitation on Monday.
