Edwina Day Tinius

Edwina Day Tinius, 85, of 2515 Daviess Street, Owensboro, died Tuesday, November 4, 2003, at her home. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary Reid Day. She retired after 20 years from General Electric and was a member of First Christian Church and the Friendship Class.. Her husband, William L. Tinius, preceded her in death in 2001.

Two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Lance Motowicki of Weteumpka, AL, and Deborah and Steve Crone of Owensboro; a sister, Lillian Day of Owensboro; and 4 grandchildren, Lance Motowicki, Jr. Of Alpharetta, GA, Jill Cioci of Lexington, KY, and Emily Crone and Julie Crone of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews survive her.

Services are 11:30 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Christian Church, or the Hospice Association.
