Edward E. Yorns

Edward E. Yorns, 70, of 1616 Prince Avenue, died Saturday, February 2, 2002, at his home. The Ridgeway, PA native was retired form Ken-Tron after 38 years as an engineer. He was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church, F.O.P., Eagles, Society Manufacturing Engineers and the American Legion. He enjoyed camping and being with his family.

He is survived by his spouse of 17 years, Barbara Yorns of Owensboro; two sons, Joseph Yorns of Owensboro and Jeff Yorns of Land O Lakes, Florida; three daughters, Angela Marino of Caledon East. Canada, Rhonda Walker of Houston, Texas. And Connie Bush of St. Marys, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Yorns of St. Marys, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Services are at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Visitation is on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again after 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.
