Edward T. Watson
December 25, 1904 — February 13, 2002
Dr. Edward T. Watson, 97, of 2020 Griffith Place West, died Wednesday, February 13, at his home. His wife, Jane Burns Watson, died in 1994.
The Owensboro native was a retired optometrist, a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church, having served on the Administrative Board, Board of Trustees, and Staff-Parrish Committee, a supporter of Kentucky Wesleyan College and Georgetown College, an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and a most avid golfer.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the charity of ones choice.
