Edward Francis Pickett, Jr., 48, of 1644 Griffith Ave, Owensboro (formerly of Warner-Robbins, GA.) died, Tuesday, July 24, 2001 in Owensboro. Born in Munich, Germany, Mr. Pickett was retired from the United States Air Force serving 20 years and attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was of the catholic faith and enjoyed scuba diving, surfing, painting and the outdoors. He loved doing things with his children.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Tina Marie Baines Pickett; two daughters, Xzandra Marie and Silvia-Grace Pickett both at home; his parents, Edward and Grace Pickett of Owensboro; a brother, Robert Anthony Pickett of La Vegas, NV; and five sisters, Kristin Foulke of Owensboro, Rosemary DeCoursey of Mesa, AZ, Anne Marie Pickett of Houston, TX, Karen DeSosa of Temecula, CA, and Ellen Rajewski Pickett of Calabassas, CA.
A memorial mass will be held at St Stephen Cathedral, Saturday, July 28, 2001 at 10:30 A.M.
There will no visitation. Glenn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
