Edward T. "Eddie" Jaskolski, 88, of Owensboro died Monday, August 23, 2010 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Eddie was born in Sharpsburg, PA. to the late Boleslaw and Marryanna Jaskolski. Eddie retired after 20 years in the U.S. Army and he was a retired accountant for Allied Signal Company, and a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. He enjoyed golf, traveling, fishing and gambling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Zigmund and Chester Krupinski and two sisters, Helen Krupinski and Leona Klonowski.
Surviving is his wife of 55years, Jacqueline Lagneau Jaskolski, a niece, Helen Kendall of Pittsburgh, P.A. and a dear friend, Francoise Grant of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 12:05 p.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Cathedral with Fr. John Vaughan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with prayers said at 6:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and also after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to either St. Stephen Cathedral or to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
