Edward Estil Evrard, 72, of 1918 Mohawk Drive, Owensboro, died Friday, October 3, 2003, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born January 14, 1931, to Edward Thomas and Evelyn Long Evrard, in Perry County, IN. He retired from MPD as a computer systems manager, was a navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of Immaculate Catholic Church, where he was a member of the mens club.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Clara Mae Uebelhor Evrard, three sons, Mark Evrard and Heady Pearson, of Kingsford, MI, Gregg Evrard of Ft. Wayne, IN, Brian Evrard and Jamie Lanham, of Utica, two daughters, Jacquelyn and Tom Horning of Gresham, OR, and Deborah Evrard and Bart Brophy of Hamilton Square, NJ, grandchildren, Michael Evrard and Michelle Evrard, both of Escanaba, MI, Kristen Evrard of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Megan Lanham and Drew Morton, both of Utica, one brother, Jim and Jan Evrard of Washington, IN, four sisters, Mary Ella and Harold Ermert of Huntingburg, IN, Ruth Ann Manion of Mabelton, GA, Clara Mae and Don Blesch of Holland, IN, and Ina and Wayne Thompson of Chandler, IN.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, at Immaculate Catholic Church, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 till 8:00 PM Monday, at Glenn Funeral Home with prayers being said at 6:00 PM. Visitation Tuesday will be after 8:30 AM at the funeral home.
