Edna Walker Long

Edna Long, 89, of Owensboro, died thereThursday, April 24, 2003. Her husband, Leo Long, died in 1965..

Mrs. Long was born in Webster County, a daughter of the late John and Leota Ashby Walker. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church and for 50 years owned and operated Longs Beauty Shop.

Her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Becky Long of Owensboro and two grandchildren, Robert Long of Lexington and Sara Long of Owensboro, survive Mrs. Long,

Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimers Association.
