Edna Hector Gordon

Mrs. Edna Hector Gordon, age 94, lifelong resident of Thruston ,Kentucky, died July 18, 2002 at Heartland Villa in Lewisport, Kentucky. She was a member of First Christian Church in Owensboro, and a member of Thruston Homemakers' club, and enjoyed geneology, gardening and her farm in Thruston. She was twice a cancer survivor, having intestinal cancer in 1954 and breast cancer in 1992. She was a member of the Ostomy Club in Owensboro. Her husband, Durward B.''Dude'' Gordon preceeded her in death, May 7, 1978. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Gordon Taylor of Thruston, and her grandson, Joey Taylor of Henderson, three step-grandchildren, several neices, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at Glenn Funeral, Home on Sunday, July 21st from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., and also after 9:00 a.m. Monday. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 22, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society, First Christian Church, or the donor's choice or favorite charity.
