Edna Mae Cecil

Edna Cecil, 84, of 2625 East Victory Court, Owensboro, died Wednesday, January 04, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born June 1, 1921, to the late Walter Simeon and Carrie Montgomery Whittinghill, in Daviess County. She was a homemaker, a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and loved animals and being with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmett Osborne in 1987 and a son, Larry Nicholas Osborne in 1946.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph T. Cecil; her sons, Ronnie Osborne and his wife, Donna, Jerry Osborne and his wife, Faye; her daughters, Sylvia Keller and her husband, Tony, Carolyn Boehmann and her husband, Frank and Marilyn Cozee, all of Owensboro, Vicky Tilly of Houston, TX and Cindy Goetz and her husband, Robert of Owensboro; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12:00 Noon, Sunday, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home, with prayers at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Sunday.
