Edna Grace Baird, 85, of 807 Parkway Drive, Owensboro, died Thursday, September 13, 2001 at Hermitage Manor. She was born March 14, 1916 in Owensboro, Kentucky the daughter of the late William Paul and Luda Burton Davis.
She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Baird in 1989 and her daughter, Brenda Ruth Baird in 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Leet Best of Owensboro and Patricia Cole of Hartford, KY; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Brother Guy Gordon. Burial will follow in Utica Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2001 and after 9:00 a.m. Monday.
