Edith Margaret Wilson

Edith (Granny) Margaret Wilson, 88, of Owensboro, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center. Born October 2, 1919, to the late Frank Levi and Iva Lou Berry Arnold, Ms. Wilson, was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and enjoyed babysitting and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claudie B. Wilson, in 1974, her son, Kenneth Dale Wilson, in 2007, three sisters, Geneva Gaddis, Ann Tyler and Minnie Keelin, and two brothers, Rollan Arnold and Royce Arnold.

Survivors include her daughter, Claudette Martin and her husband Billy of Owensboro; grandchildren, Carol Riley and her husband Pat of Utica, Debbie Aldridge and her husband Jerry of Philpot, Ricky Wilson and his wife Dale Ann of Utica, Billy Joe Wilson and his wife Sara, of Utica, Todd Martin of Utica and Jeff Martin of Owensboro; great-grandchildren, Justin Aldridge, Jansen Aldridge, Teela Winfield, Brad Riley, Heath Riley, Andrew Wilson, Caitlin Wilson, Merissa Wilson, Adam Wilson, Clint Wilson and Haley Wilson, and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, March 19, at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
