Edith Burton Pantle

Edith Burton Pantle, 87, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, January 8, 2002 at Hillcrest Health Care in Owensboro. The Daviess County native was a homemaker and member of the Zion United Church of Christ. She taught Sunday School for more than 50 years and enjoyed roses, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband, C.A. ''Ott'' Pantle Sr., died Aug 27, 1980.
Survivors include a son, C.A. ''Ottie'' Pantle Jr. of Owensboro; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenneth Burton and Carroll Burton both of Masonville.
Services are 10:30 A.M. Friday at Zion United Church of Christ in Owensboro. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-8 P.M. Thursday, January 10 at Glenn Funeral Home and after 9 A.M. on Friday, January 11 at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Zion United Church of Christ Organ Fund.
