Edith Lilly Hurm

Edith Lilly Alvey Hurm, 80, of Bon Harbor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Tell City, In. had been a homemaker and was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. She enjoyed raising a garden, canning vegetables, reading , and listening to country music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Hurm on Dec. 28, 1986.
Surviving is her son, Roger Dale Hurm of Owensboro, 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Leolla & Anthony Sims of Moseleyville, Margie & Thomas Maglinger of Owensboro, Deborah & Daniel VanBussum of Owensboro, 12 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 1, 2003, at the Precious Blood Catholic Church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 31, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
