Ed Morris, 80, of 2532 Arbor Terrace, Owensboro, formerly of Evansville, In., passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Northcrest Hospital in Springfield, Tn. He was born in Kingman, Kan. and was retired as a Petroleum Geologist. He was a U. S. Army veteran during World War II. He was preceded in death by a son, Brett Morris.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Jeanette Morris, a son, Lance Morris of Owensboro, two daughters, Tamara Morton of Greer, S. C., and Debora Orndorff of Springfield, Tn., eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14 at Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church in Owensboro. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church, 1215 Scherm Rd., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
