Earnest E. Stone

Ernest Ernie Stone, 57, of 1922 Monarch Avenue, Owensboro, died Monday, February 21, 2005 at his home. He was formerly of Beaver Dam and Ohio County, and worked for H.B. Stanley as a heavy equipment operator for 28 years. He was a member of McHenry Church of Christ and AmVets. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and planting flowers and tending his roses.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon Stone, two daughters, Rhonda and Jennifer Stone, and two grandchildren, Jalen and Jeremiah Goodwin, all of Owensboro, and his parents, Robert and Mary Stone of Beaver Dam, brothers, Larry Stone of Centertown, and Barry Stone of Hartford, and a sister, Deloris Gabbard of Rockport, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held, 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery Veterans Section with military honors from Veterans of Foreign Wars.
