Earl Martin

November 13, 1930 — September 9, 2018

Earl Martin, 87, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Olaton, Ky., was of the Baptist faith, and was a retired electrician. He was a U. S. Army veteran during the Korean War. Earl was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Davis Swindell in 2013.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Nancy Basham Martin, three daughters, Claire L. Martin, Christina Martin (Yusuf), and Valerie E. Mobley, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a brother, A. D. Martin.

Services will be Noon Thursday, September 13, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens with military honors. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until Noon Thursday at the funeral home.
