Earl Ray Martin

Earl R. Martin, 82, of Owensboro, passed away on September 28, 2014. He was born on April 10, 1932 in Ohio. Co. to the late Gilbert and Georgia Hillard Martin. Earl was retired and a veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinals.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, twin sisters Marlene and Darlene and brother Bobby Martin.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty Lou Maddox Martin; sons, Rick Martin and Michael (Karen) Martin; daughter, Patricia (Ike Duke) Martin; brother, Eddie Martin of Elizabethtown; sister, Linda ( Rodney) Beasley of Mc Henry; 4 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother in law, Billy (Elaine) Maddox of Chippewa, WI and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be at 2PM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 Wednesday and after 10 on Thursday at the funeral home.
